Homes built with solid walls lose a large amount of heat due to low thermal resistance i.e. cold air from the outside can penetrate the walls and high air leakage i.e. the heat you generate in your home is easily lost through the walls. This means your home is likely to be expensive to heat and difficult to keep warm.

One solution for helping to treat solid wall properties is to use internal wall insulation. However, this can take an extended period of time to fit and can be disruptive to you and the people living in your home. At Omega Energy Services, we have an innovative method to insulate solid walls or walls that have been built with a very narrow cavity.​ We call this Cavity Internal Wall Insulation (CIWI).

Installed a bit like cavity wall insulation, which is traditionally fitted from the outside of your home, our new technology allows us to inject super-bead insulation materials into your walls from the inside.

The bead is injected through drill holes on the internal walls and bonded to form a rigid structure inside the wall, providing a solution to heat loss. This type of wall insulation is much quicker and less disruptive to install than internal wall insulation, in most homes it takes less than a day to complete.

Once the insulation is injected into the walls, we will fill in all the injection holes, sand down and make good for decorating.
